Heat Pump Water Heaters

Did you know that water heaters use the second largest amount of energy in homes? To help reduce costs and save energy, we offer to install highly efficient Heat Pump Water Heaters (HPWHs). HPWHs are up to 4x more efficient compared to conventional gas water heaters and have the added benefit of reducing carbon footprint. Additionally, HPWHs on average last 13-15 years, much longer than the average 8- years for conventional water heaters.

Electric Panel Upgrade

Modern homes typically have electric panels with a capacity of 200 amps, while older homes often have panels with a capacity of only 60-100 amps. With many newer appliances requiring up to 200 amps to operate properly, upgrading to a 200-amp panel can be necessary to support the installation of a HPWH and any other new appliances you may want to add in the future. We offer electric panel upgrades to ensure your home has the power it needs.

Rebate Programs

The cost of installing a new HPWH or upgrading an electric panel can be quite high. However, there are rebates available in California that can help to reduce these costs. With TECH Clean, rebates up to two HPWHs per dwelling unit are available, and an additional rebate if an electric panel upgrade can be included. Low-income customers may also be eligible for further rebates. Additionally, customers can apply for a federal tax credit to further offset the costs.

Rheem is the main brand of HPWHs we offer, available in 50, 65, and 80-gallon capacities, and Energy Star certified. They are of high quality and not found in stores.
